Carnarvon

Hi everyone!

I have to tell you that I think this will be our smallest post on the blog yet!

We drove yesterday from Coral Bay to Carnarvon, not a massive drive, we were there by lunch time. We checked into te caravan park, had some lunch after un hooking & then thought we would go for a drive around.
From what we could work out, Carnarvon has fruit growing businesses, there were bannana & mango tress to name a couple & there is also a fishing industry. The info. centre was closed when we went into the town so we drove around with the info that we had already. We drove to the One Mile Jetty to have a look. This jetty also has a rail line out to the end. When we got out of the car we were going to be charged a fee to walk out onto the jetty so we decided not too! Could not believe there was a fee! So after pretty much driving all around & to the outskirts of the town we decided to do our groceries & go back to the caravan park.
At the park the kids enjoyed playing at the playground for the rest of the arvo. Our van was right across from the playground so it worked out well! I could do what I needed to & watch them at the same time! It was nice to be able to relax a little as well. The bathroom facilities at this park were Great! We even had music while we were at the toilet & in the shower. One other thing that we liked about the town was the local radio station, classic hits 666! Played some really great music, new & old & even very old! It was also very funny to watch Felicity get on the toilet & start bopping to ACDC last night around 1am!

Anyway, we didn't take any photos from our stay here & so as to not leave you all upset by not having a photo, we did take this family selfie in the van!

One other thing I should mention is that by last night we were all back in our winter PJ's & needing our trackies & hoodies on by evening! Something tells us that its not that long before we will be home! Just going by the weather change!

Hope everyone is well.
